UK-Taiwan 6G Joint Workshop | 29 May 2025

By Invitation Only

The UK-Taiwan 6G Joint Workshop will be an opportunity to meet and hear from a range of telecoms companies and researchers from Taiwan and explore opportunities for collaboration on advanced communications research and innovation. A delegation of 30 industrial and academic researchers from Taiwan will be attending together with representatives of UK industry, including innovative SMEs, and researchers from the leading universities active in this area. The aim is to help broker new collaborative relationships between the two countries.

The event will provide updates on the current status of both UK and Taiwan 6G research and experimentation, and highlight opportunities offered by new experimental infrastructure and capabilities. Panels will explore what the key future telecoms technology enablers are, the future of network experimentation and trials and how we drive adoption of innovation. There will be an opportunity for participants from the UK and Taiwan to set up a poster/banner, do a live 2-minute pitch of their interests and plenty of time to network. There will also be a discussion about funding opportunities and what helps make a successful Taiwan-UK collaboration.
